a Chilean-Danish couple - who after living many years in Denmark - decided to immigrate to Chile. In 2005 we traveled for 3 moths throughout Chile in order to find the most beautiful place in this lovely country and the last week of our travel we reached Santa Cruz. It was love at first sight. The following year we returned to look for a place to build the hotel of our dreams and we were lucky to find the Laura Hartwig winery who sold us the vineyard where you now find Hotel Terraviņa.
Together with the owners of the Laura Hartwig winery we developed a plan to work together. Later a Chilean-American couple joined in with the restaurant 'Vino Bello' next to the hotel and the winery.
